The sleek, compact XR9 unit is the smallest satellite radio offered by Audiovox, and it has a fit and finish sure to appeal to a wide audience. Features include a large blue Backlit LCD display, peripherally located controls and a very low profile. The XR9 has a built-in wireless FM modulator that allows you to listen to XM on any FM radio. The unit can display up to 20 customizable stock quotes. The Receiver comes packed with a remote control as a standard accessory. The XR9 moves easily from the vehicle to the home or office. You can plug the unit in your vehicle with an Optional Audiovox (XC9) car Stereo kit and you can listen on your stereo with an optional Audiovox (XH9) home kit. Audiovox also offers an optional portable boombox (XB9). Minimize

Basic Satellite Radio Solution

Pros: Affordable, Basic Functions, Nice Look

Cons: Short Skip Buffer, FM Interferance.

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to try XM radio. Its a decent radio that offers all the basic features.

Good unit but beware of volume levels

Pros: Nice display, display scroll lets you set more than just stock quotes.

Cons: High audio output for quite setting like an office when used with XB9 boom box.

The Bottom Line: The XR9 combines all the features of the Delphi SkiFi2 in a unit not much bigger than the Delphi Roady2. Despite the XB9 volume problems, I'd recommend it to friends.

Review: I recently purchased the XR9 as a replacement for a broken Delphi Roady2. The unit works fine but beware of the volume levels that can (or cannot) be adjusted. The unit has within its Menu, an Audio Options setting where you can adjust Equalizer Control ...
