I don't know what some of you expect, for a great deal.
Not long ago, I ordered a Samsun 52" LCD Flat Panel. I did it totally online. A week later, I called them to veryify order and some additional questions, I had. They were very helful with my order, after I ordered it, online. They answered all my questions and even gave me a Website to buy a low cost mounting bracket. It took 2 weeks, but I saved over $1000. No Tax, no Shipping costs. Shipped directly from the Factory! They also tried to sell me accessories, Oh, how evil of them :-), and saved me $200, for extended Warantee. They would have been negligent if they didn't do so. I am Happy, VERY HAPPY! Would buy again, soon. |

Direct Buy sucks big time. Stay away from their presentation at all costs. It is costly, slow, and customer service is the absolute worst.

I ordered a plasma tv with these crooks, waited 3 weeks, had my credit card charged, called 3 times and received the run around 3 times, and finally they told me the order was cancelled and they are going out of business.
They said they credited my credit card and it will appeared in a few days!! Fat chance but they got me off the phone with them. They stole my money so I contested the charge with the credit card, and will not have to pay for it. The SOB are crooks, and I wish they are in my hometown. I would pay them a visit with my buddies. |

Negative reviews regarding 123 Buy Direct appear correct. I ordered a flat screen TV for my wife's birthday 22 OCT expecting delivery o/a 28 OCT. I monitored the transaction by calling their 800 numder and talking to representatives who executed the "bait and switch", the " we'll coordinate via email" and finally, "We've gone bankrupt." The money came out of my account 29 OCT. I received an email 06 NOV saying that the money would be refunded. I finally talked to a live operator 06 NOV who told me the money was refunded 04 NOV. Another lie. Beware of these guys. Perhaps there's a lawyer out there ready to gut this predator.

RIP OFF CHARGED ME TWICE. I Placed on order on Saturday for a Sony 52" TV. PAID with my credit card. Sunday they call add more charges for insurance. I tried calling them on Monday to get a tracking number since I DID NOT RECIEVE AN EMAIL WITH THIS INFORMATION. Put on hold whiched to another department. NOW NO ANSWER AT ALL AND THEY HAVE A NEW NUMBER. THE REALLY BAD PART MY CARD WAS CHARGED TWICE. A NIGHTMARE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ALSO HAVE ANOTHER COMPANY NAME PRICE MAD. RIP OFF COMPANYS READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU MAKE LARGE PURCHASE. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. MY ATTORNEYS AND THE BANK ARE LOOKING INTO THIS AS WELL AND WILL GO AFTER THIS COMPANY. Well, I ordered a 50 inch plasma tv from them a month
ago and just received it today. 30 days vs. the 7-9 business day shipping that I paid an extra $99 for. I was so scared after sending this company my money and really thought I was being ripped off by them. Customer service is lousy to say the least, I called today to see why I hadn't received my $99 that was supposed to be credited back to my credit card last week and was told that they were shutting down their business. Although their website is still up, You have been warned not to do business with this flakey company. If you want to do business with a honest internet company I would suggest Abe's of Maine... |

My 123BuyDirect experience: Ordered a Sharp Aquos 52 inch TV. I passed on hearing about newer models from the sales rep. Received paperwork for a different Sharp Aquos TV on CompDirect stationary. After 3 weeks, I received an "Entry Level" (not Aquos) Sharp TV. Sales staff insist I must have approved the swap. Sales staff refuse any changes unless I pay return freight and restocking fee. Pretty good racket. Are we having fun yet!

123 Buy Direct had the lowest price I could find anywhere for a Samsung 52 850 lcd. I went ahead and took a chance and ordered it after reading several negative ratings along with several positive ratings. Everything turned out alright for me although there were several days that I questioned whether I had made the right dession. I ordered the TV on Aug 14th and it was delivered Sept 9th. Factory packed and in very good condition.Thier customer service is not the greatest in the world but I did get what I ordered in a fair amount of time for ground shipping.

I wasn't sure what I was getting into, and I would like to thank everyone here for telling me their experiences, and informing me that DirectBuy was not the way to go. I did sign up for their service, however, when I got home from their droned out sales pitch, I checked with epionions, and found out that that many people had problems with their customer service, not to mention other things. I sent a letter to them, return receipt requested and asked for my $600.00 deposit back. I was a little nervous, because of the epinions given, but I did get my $600.00 back in just a few business days from DirectBuy. I never placed an order, but if I didn't check with epionions I would have, so thank you to everyone in the epinions world for saving my a lot of trouble!!! KareBear

July 21st 2008 I bought an LCD monitor from these idiots. . The advertised price was 1125.00. Subsequently they took 1518.00 from my account. I have made numerous phone calls in an attempt to straighten out this matter only to be put on indefinite hold, or lied to. One customer service representative in the credit dept. told me that an E-mail with the refund transaction number would be sent by 6:30 that night. It was not. I have called my credit card company and no refund from 123 Buy Direct has been initiated. The entire process of dealing with this company has been extremely unpleasant. Something should be done to make sure this experience is not repeated for other customers, DON"T GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
