Ordered item on 6/3 and not received...

Ordered item on 6/3 and not received yet(as of 6/18). Wrote e-mail to AC-Store twice asking for status. Finally received response on 6/17 (after two days since writing e-mail) indicating the item was backordered from the manufacturer. The e-mail indicated the item was finally shipped. It seems to me they could have sent an e-mail when the item was ordered indicating it was out of stock and an anticipated date of shipment. This would have allowed me to decide whether to wait or cancel the order.

Perfect service but with one weak point: You don't ship to address other than billing address. What if i'm sending an item as a gift to someone?? What if i'm in another country than my billing address?

I purchase 2 Robertshaw thermostats 9725i2 i purchase them Monday morning and the next day i received them.This was unexpected . The Robertshaw 9725i2 maybe the best thermostat available with the most settings and nice design . Auto Changeover made me chose this one .The price was the best i found on-line
