AJ Madison

I ordered a vent hood from them and confirmed the price and was charged.  A week later I requested confirmation of its shipping and was told it was on back order, then a month later that it was discontinued.  They then tried to see me a similar item for 50% more, refusing to honor the old price or product, despite the fact that the manufacturer said it was still in current manufacture (it is in fact still on the manufacturer web site) and in stock.
This store is dishonest, has poor service and I would never shop there again or suggest someone else do so.

AJ Madison is a great resource!  I will recommend their site to everyone I know.  I purchased my Northland All-Fridge/All-Freezer units from them and had the best experience.  They were competitively priced and have outstanding customer service.  When i discovered the glass shelves of my refrigerator had been damaged in shipping AJ Madison immediately took care of me going above and beyond my expectations with replacement.  My customer service agent, Noa, kept in constant touch with me until everything was perfect.  Thanks AJ Madison!

No issues with AJ Madison, but AJ Madison *did* select the delivery company and that company, HomeDirectUSA, is scary. They do not complete any of the tracking information so the customer can see the status and location of their order. I finally had to call AJMadison as my contractor was screaming down my neck for the built in appliances. Finally reached the delivery people, and the woman laughed! Thought it was terribly funny that HomeDirectUSA had "forgotten" to complete and update the tracking form. I said I found nothing humorous in a situation that was costing me $1000 per day in man-hours. I really like AJMadison; they're a fine company and I hope to do business with them again. However, next time, I'll place the order by phone and if they can't assure me of someone other than HomeDirectUSA for delivery, I'll probably take my business elsewhere.

I decided to get a Kitchen aid dishwasher and very soon figured that this was the biggest mistake of my life. The dishwasher broker down within 3 months, and it had been 3 months since it broke down and my dishwasher is still not fixed.
I literally have to call the company every week and they keep telling me that they have ordered the part that needs to be replaced and that it would take few days to arrive. The following week they tell me that they have ordered the wrong part, and so they would need to order it again.
They have ordered that wrong aprt 3 times until now, and i've been washing my dishes manually for more than 3 months now. Is this what I paid for???

Artie Montesa is a great professional, and a skilled people's person. He can also give the customer technical tips, all sorts of advise, and he's very accomodating, his service is outstanding, and his knowledge of the industry, the appliances are very high. He's also very polite, and his manners are impecable.The crew that delivered my order was fast, clean, courteous, professional, helpful, and very well trained, they unpacked the unit, made sure everything was in good shape, and delivered it to the installation place. I plan to recommend Artie Montesa from AJ Madison to everyone I know that needs to purchase major appliances.

This is the shadiest online vendor I have ever encountered.  They stood me up on my delivery, accused me of lying to them, and delayed my refund for over 2 weeks.  On top of that, they charged me for shipping! 

Other stuff:
When I called to arrange my delivery, I was on hold for over 45 minutes.  After they stood me up and I called again, was on hold for over an hour.  Then they offered to re-attempt delivery, but only when it was convenient for their shipping vendor... during my work hours.  They were uncooperative, rude and bullying.  It is now my mission in life to destroy this company's reputation.

I bought A wine a Danby wine cooler from AJ Madison for 1709 $.

Delivery: I paid for white glove service . Delivery guys refused to carry go beyond second floor. I called AJ madison and they asked me to pay the delivery guys extra and promised to reimburse me which they did.

Product: The Danby wine cooler for 1709$ broke beyond repair after 9 month. Since the product was so bad and Danby refused to replace it but insisted that I go through the dealer I took a refund.

Refund: It took AJ madison more than a month to refund the money. During this month I contacted them 5 times each time they promised the check whithin a week. When the check finally arrived I realized that they subtracted the amount refunded for the delivery and refused to pay it back.

When we have so much option where to buy electrics it worth buying from someone honest.

Customer service: Terrible alsmost never return a call.

I have a longstanding reputation for being somewhat of a perfectionist and very hard to please.  After rigorous research, I selected AJ Madison, from which I recently purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher and Broan trash compactor on line. Not only do they have the best prices, including shipping, they also provide outstanding selection, products and customer service, especially after the sale. 
They are definitly the best!  You are sure to be pleasantly surprised at their old-fashioned (and unfortunately, atypical now-a-days) commitment to outstanding service and customer satisfaction!
I highly recommend them for your next appliance purchase.

I place my order on Thursday of last week and my order was delivered today, Tuesday. I couldn't be happier with my order at AJ Madison. I ordered a Bosch washer anddrier, a GE Cafe gas range, an Amana refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher,and  a GE Advantix microwave. They arrived in excellent condition. Solomon took my order, helped me when my choice of refrigerator was too large for the space, cancelled and reordered for me and was intelligent and extremely helpful. He spoke to me in a respectful manner and explained everything clearly.The delivery people  that I spoke to on the phone were knowledgeable about my order and delivered everything as promised. I was called the night before delivery and told that the appliances would be delivered between 10 and 1.  The driver called me when he was close to my house to be sure I was there. At 9:45 the furniture was delivered.  I can't say enough about the quality of help at AJMadison.  I would highly recommend them.
