I just recently bought a Nikon d5000 from abes of Maine. They authorized dealers so I don’t have to worry about warranty. I’m satisfied with my order.

I bought the Samsung 55b7000 from abes. I was concerned of the delivery it was expensive TV and I didn’t want to go through a hassle if it breaks. But it came package professionally and in tacked.

I didn't do my homework on this place. Being a camera novice I was talked into buying a spare battery with "3 times the battery life"
and  $49.00, 8 gb card. I got the battery as part of the 8gb card.
OK got me there, then the pitch about the warranty. So, I got that as well for $49.00. After all of this I received my order as stated. Except the 4gb card that was a bonus did not come, now it's a nightmare trying to get that card out of them. Now it's soley for spite that I will not let it go. I will go to the BBB if I have to over a 15 dollar item. BTW Nikon sells the same 2 year warranty for 29.99!!!
Do not do business with these people!

You can always rely on abes of Maine to get things you need at the right time. I ordered a canon sd880 for my son’s birthday and I needed fast. I got it in less than 2 days. I’m very satisfied with abes I will definitely come back.

I order online Samsung LN37B650 HDTV on June 16, 2008. Next day sales person “WILL” confirmed my order and told me that you will be receiving email shortly with tracking number. Today is June 22nd but I’m still waiting of tracking # b/c Abe’s of Main haven’t shipped yet.

I spoke to customer support several times last week and every day they saying your order will be ship today.

Note: Cradit card already charged on June 18th.

I’m not comfortable with my purchase b/c I don’t know what I’ll receive once they ship my order.

I was looking for a nice small compact digital camera. I found the Nikon L19 which was small and 7MP. Abes of Maine had it for only 120$. Great deal. I was excited when it arrived. Satisfied customer.

I ordered a canon SD1200 from abes when I got the box it had the wrong item on it. I called customer service to replace it for me. They took care of the problem right away and didn’t give me a hard time.

Ordered an item online and then had to call in to confirm it. They've done this before and it's simply a way for them to upsell on more accessories. Then even though I chose to pay a little more for expediting the order, they sat on it for 2 days and so it did not arrive at the intended date. I missed having it for my vacation. There order processing and shipping is inconsistent. Don't waste your time.

I purchased a 52" Sharp Aquos LCD TV in 2007.  They convinced me to purchase an extended warranty for $300.  It was delivered quickly and worked great.  In February '09 the set failed completely (main digital board).

I called customer service told me that the company that handled their extended warranties had gone out of business.  After 2 months of various stories (next week, another 2 weeks, we're suing them, etc.) they told me to call Sharp and arrange to have the set fixed, and to keep the invoice.  The TV is being fixed, and the tech just called and it will cost me $830.  I called Abe's again and asked about how their reimbursement works.  Their "reimbursement plan" is for me to sue the defunct repair copmany.  Enough said.

I searched on line for a sharp lc-46SE94 I saw abes of Maine. Abes had the lowest price on it and it was in stock ready to ship. About 7 days later I got my TV. I’m very happy with the TV and abes.

Abes has been one of my best experiences of an online shopping company. I bought a canon EF 70-300mm lens, I didn’t know much about it I spoke to an abes rep he was great. He explained everything to me I was very impressed.

Compared to other vendor’s abes is remarkable. I got me a nice camcorder from their for my daughter’s birthday. They shipped it to her without giving me problems.  It was awesome.
