CSN Office Furniture

I ordered a couple of 6' wood bookshelves.  My order was delayed repeatedly until I threatened to cancel and then was finally sent.  There were flaws in the product due to bad packaging.  They had stuffed the apparently still wet from staining shelves up against the shelf holder such that the stained surface of several of the shelves was damaged.  I noted all the defects on the shipping notice and I attempted to contact via e-mail and received no response whatsoever.  Most places that sell this type of thing will talk to you about just replacing a damaged shelf or two.  Apparently these guys will do nothing unless you send the entire thing back (at your own expense) and incur the restocking fee.  I will never do business with them again that is FOR SURE!

Order was damaged during shipment and I still have not received the desk set. Original order was shipped on 9/24/08. I tracked the Fed Ex shipment and if I had not called CSN after I saw the damaged desk had arrived back at the shipping point, CSN would not have known I had not received the desk. I still have not received an e-mail telling me a new desk has been shipped.

I have been looking for a new home office computer desk for some time. I wanted something dark brown and very simple. I happened upon the CSN site and found exactly the one I wanted. Some people had written that it was hard to put together. My handyman put it together in about 20 mins. I love it!

The desk is of even higher quality than I expected. Your customer service kept me up-to-date on the waiting period (there was a backorder on this piece). The shipping and delivery price was very acceptable. And the White Glove Service was without flaw. The 2 men from Child's Brokerage who delivered this 285-lb desk were polite professionals who knew their job well. I hate to think what I would have had to do without them. The desk was carried in professionally and placed exactly where I requested. I'm a very happy customer.

The only problem I had was that I specifically call to find out if the desks were already assembled. I was told by the young man that they would be delivered fully assembled. They were not. When I called again I was apologized to and asked if I wanted to return the desks. Due to time I did not. My level of trust for the information I received on the phone took a big hit.

Desk was supposed to be delivered and assembled. Driver did not assembled. Said it wasn't his job to do so. Had to pay for someone to assemble for me. That was disappointing.

It was pretty clear that UPS really mishandled the the desk. The customer service staff reacted in a very professional manner and expedited replacement parts immediately. They also went the extra mile and expressed the parts I was missing.

The chair is quite comfortable. I'm a woman of size and have had regular and big/tall chairs before from this company. I was under the impression that this particular style had a metal base, but it does not. I'm usually very rough on casters. The first chair lasted about 6 years, the second a few months. I'm expecting this one to last a long time.

FIRST, I have to say, this product came VERY QUICKLY! Quicker than the approximated time. VERY HAPPY ABOUT THAT! I purchased a stackable bookshelf. It has 3 tiers. You can use all three tiers for a bookshelf or you can use one or two tiers as an actual bench for the child to sit on. My son LOVED this bookshelf when he saw it. he couldn't wait to sit on it. It went together very easitly and it is sturday enough for his 39 lbs to sit on. I was so happy I purchased this for him. It holds all of his books and because it is a natural finish wood, it matches perfectly with his bedroom furniture.

DON'T DO IT!!!! Three months later, I am still waiting. After my order was delayed for another 90 days, I have finally gave up and canceled!!!! Save yourself the frustration of dealing with this company and go somewhere else. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!
