Books arrived in first class condition. 17 days delivery to Australia was OK. In the past have received similar books from 7 days to 5 weeks, from various other suppliers. First time user of Deep Discount.com and if the price is right would be happy to use them again.

it was okay... I just think thier mail time is too LONG!!! My order took almost 10 business days... that is too long when most companies offer free shipping and you get it in 1/2 the time. Granted the price was great but I would pay an extra dollar to get it faster.

The only problem I had was that my order was back ordered and there was no phone number to call with questions or concerns. Email messages were responded to within 24 hours, but had I needed to, there was no way to contact the vendor by phone. The order tracking also was not the best.

I usually have a good experience at DD. This time, I ordered 3 DVD's and received 2 DVD's fairly quickly and one was on backorder. When we received it, I received the novel instead of the DVD. My daughter was disappointed. She is leaving for a month with her dad so she won't be able to see it for at least another month. I still prefer DD and will continue to shop there. Hopefully, this is my only time to have the order incorrect.

I enjoy shopping DD. My only gripe is, when an item is out of stock or offered pre-release date and I pay for it using my debit card - I would like the amount immediately deducted along with my other purchases. Debit cards are hard to keep track of and by waiting to deduct the cost of the purchase - you screw my card balance up and create the possibility of insufficient funds being available when the desired purchase becomes available. Having been badly burned in the past by others, I no longer use a credit card on the web - only prepaid debit cards loaded with funds designated for web purchases. This has saved my bacon several times. If someone tries to rip me off, I can just withdraw my funds and report the card compromised - and get a new card. I always have two active cards for web purchases. Thank you DD for your excellent service and I appreciate your low prices. I have over 1300 DVDs in my collection - all movies and tv episodes I want to watch, when I want to watch them. You make cable and dish tv obsolete. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!

Will think carefully about shopping at deepdiscount.com. Slight damage to DVDs. The information provided for the DVDs requires improvement. For example, needs to clearly state whether its a widescreen or full screen format so you can make an informed choice. More specifications about aspect ratio, region, format and so on.
