They offered a cash discount and shipped item direct as soon as check cleared. The packaging was great; all parts included. Actually I was more than pleased with the quality of product and both my plumber and electrician confirmed quality is great. Hopefully, I'll never need it, but if I do I'm so glad I have it. With a well for our water supply I now don't have to panic when the electric goes off - I can still flush!

Generator was easy to assemble and started on the first try. After a short run time I turned it off and connected to the transfer switch for the real test. Everything I wanted and needed to operate work with no indication of a load on the generator. Thanks for a very informative and well made web site and shopping experience.

electricgeneratordirect.com has been a great company to deal with. The customer service department was first rate and the generator arrived on time as promised. The web site has lots of information and is very helpful when making comparisions. The only "nag" that I have is the need to explain the differances between one model year and the next. This is more of a manufacturer's issue not the distributor. All in all this company did a great job and I will and have recommended them to all of my friends and coworkers.

Generator delivery was great...but they did try to charge 50.00 for liftgate service and the RL carriers that delivered it had free liftgate service!!! Also power cord ordered a few days after took over a week to ship and e-mailed electricgeneratorsdirect about the status and never got a reply!

9/5/8 Placed order. 9/10/8 Wrong item delivered to home. 9/11/8 Called EGD, got RMA for wrong item & cancelled order for original item. 9/12/8 UPS picked up wrong item and attempted to deliver correct item. Refused delivery as has already purchased item from another source. 9/17/8 Baoth items currently enroute back to shipper.

I had no problem with ElectricGeneratorsDirect. They were fantastic. BUT they were having quite a problem with Mitsubishi delivering and even finding a tracking #. As a result I finally cancelled my order. And this also happened at another company be cause of Mitsubishi.
