Low prices, lots of vinyl choice, a little disappointed with items.

Ordered 2 LP's one was noted as being a remastered edition with a deluxe booklet, but that must have been the text from the CD description, it was the original release.
The LP sleeves were notched, which happened in the old days to denote that the item was sold at a big discount from retail, so people couldn't try to return them to a store and try to get a refund of full retail price. Shipping was adequate, the LP sleeve corners were a bit dinged from shipping. Same as you would expect from amazon.com when they ship LP's. Anyway, they were at a great price, so I can't complain too much, but it wasn't exactly what I expected. |

I'm generally hesitant to buy big-ticket items on-line, but chose JR for this purchase because my impression was that their reputation was good-and their price for the item matched the lowest price I found.
I ordered the item late one evening Pacific Time and received an email early the following morning notifying me that it had been shipped. The day the camera was scheduled for delivery, I found a lower price on-line and called JR's customer service. After a minor annoyance with the voice response phone system (have you ever had a good experience with one of those??), I spoke with a customer service agent who verified the competitor's price and told me they would credit my card for the price difference. The camera I ordered arrived today as scheduled and looks to be undamaged and in new condition. I can't say how satisfied I'll be with it since I haven't yet had time to use it. I can tell you that based on the way my order was handled, JR will be one of my preferred vendors for future purchases. |

I found a product that I wanted to buy at another store for much cheaper then J&R offered it so I price matched it over the phone and then made the purchase that way. I was glad that they did price match it but they only beat the other person's price by a few cents so it wasn't that good of a deal and they charged me 9 dollars for shipping because the other site did.

I ordered a Samsung Memoir cell phone through your store. I had ordered a video game through your store in the past and was very pleased with the speed at which I recieved my items. I actually recieved my items faster than I expected. My orders were accurate. your customer service department called to verify my credit card with both my financial institution and myself. The salesperson "rick" was great I placed my order on 6/11/09 in the morning and it's already on the UPS truck en route to my house.Rick provides excellent customer service and people skills. WONDERFUL BUYING EXPERIENCE! I was a little hesitant about spending so much money for a digital slr camera online, after reading all of the reviews for the last year or so. I finally settled on J&R Music and Computer World and am very glad that I did. Some competitors websites didn't have the Nikon D-90 in stock. J&R's website stated that the camera and the lens I wanted were in stock and would ship in one/two business days. The camera arrived today, one day after it shipped and three days after I purchased it online (with free shipping). It was extremely well packaged and all of the items were perfect!!
