I placed my order with MetroStyle since end of Feb, my order was back ordered so they sent me apology e-mail.
2 Months later I got another e-mail (4/11/09) said that the items now available and expected ship date would be 5/26/09.
I sent them e-mail ask them to hold my order because I'm moving out from my current address withing 2 weeks. They told me "we so sorry but the order had been issued and we can't hold it.

Stupid stupid stupid, all I asked them was just hold me order until I confirm my new address, after my order was back for 2 months. They decided that they will send to me next month no matter I will get it or not.

I will not do business with this company or any of the relate company.

Here's the thing, the styles look good on paper.  They look trendy and different.  Yet, the quality is so poor, that no matter how cute the things look, ya just don't want to wear them because they look so Kmart.  Sorry Kmart.  I really wish they could get thier act together and make the products of a higher quality.  Even if they had to charge a little more, the cute styles would be worth it, if they were not so cheap looking.

Lerner/Metrostyle is the WORST! BEWARE!!! Ordered 2 items and one was cheap/ugly. Returned it and was charged to have it returned. The item was then taken off deferred billing and charged to my account less the restocked price amount. They got the shipping fee and a restock fee from me on an item I don't even own. Nice way to treat customers! Read the fine print-not that it will do you any good.

Price ... cheap .... Quality...low.. very low.... most of the things i've bought from them i've had to return because of the quality of the material..... buttons never stay on... you might be lucky though... i've been lucky like twice.... if your money is really important to you.... dont bother yourself... if u feel like experimenting.. try!

I have been shopping at Metrostyle for years!! I was always happy with their service until today. I placed an order for deferred payment yesterday and today I was not able to use my credit card. Why?? Because Metrostyle did not place my order as deferred. I used the code online plus a 30% discount code. I called customer service and did not get any help. I was informed that I would have to wait until the following Tuesday and call back because my order is in processing.

Now all my bills that I paid will bounce!!!!!

PROS:Fashionable looking clothing at decent sales prices.
CONS: Expensive shipping and return fees.

I ordered 2 dresses from their clearance section. One of them does not fit me properly and seems way too big to be a "medium". I just don't like the material on the other one. I have sent them both back and they will deduct the 8.99 dollars in shipping plus the 4.50 return fee! I am really ticked off with the expense of returning these items and because of this I will never shop there again! This is not a way to get a new customer! This is the first and last time I will shop there! I am really disappointed because there are many nice looking dresses on the website!

I have been trying to receive a pair of black pants for 2 months. They have sent me the wrong size three times. They also sent me a pant suit that looked as if it had been worn. The customer service (yeah right) is horrible. There seems to be a major lack of organization. I will never waste my time with this company again.

I've never shopped Lerner before and won't be doing it again. I asked for expedited shipping and paid through the nose for it - it's been almost 2 weeks and I have yet to receive my order. They charged my card and said they shipped the item on 5Dec. It was supposed to arrive in 3-5 business days. Yeah right. It's now 13Dec and I still haven't received it.

I ordered a few leather items and I was deeply disappointed because of the quality. I never ever saw a leather which looked like it was poor quality vinyl painted with a brush.I know that on the screen the colours are not totally accurate, but no soooo completely different. When I first saw the prices I was very happy that I could save money. But now I know that it would have been wiser to spend twice as much for things I wouldn't be ashamed to wear.
I will never buy anything from Lerner again.

I shop at Lerner online because they have great deals. Especially in their clearance section. I do have a few complaints: They are often sold out of several items in the clearance area for days on end-update your site!. I have to ship to a different address than my billing address, so I have to fill this in. If I make a mistake, it does not save this information, so I have to retype it over. I agree with the other review that says that the larger view is really not larger at all.I have had some issues with the site not recognizing valid and current discount codes as well.
The positives to my experiences are that I get great clothes at a great value, the deferred billing is nice, and the site is pretty fast, not slow like so many other online shops. I do find my size (size XS, S, and 4) with no problems. Shipping seems to get to me pretty quickly. I live in VA and use the ground shipping which is the cheapest. I usually get the package in about 5 days or less providing the item is in stock.

Everything in junkot's review I whole heartedly agree with.

Lerner catalog's web site is poor at best. You cannot get a clear view of items. Today I have tried five times (unsuccessfully) to purchase about $300 worth of clothes. I get numerous errors, which I report to the help desk. They email me back, and each time it seems to be my fault. I try their suggestions, but get the same errors.

Shipping - slow and expensive. Total rip off.

So why do I shop Lerner's catalog? Once you do get the clothes, they are good for the price. Most items are machine washable, and the colors hold. Lerner's non-existent customer service and inept website help simply make it difficult to purchase items. You are much better off snail-mailing your order in.
