Montgomery Ward

I have never recieved the merchandise. I tried to e-mail to find out why and the e-mail was returned to me. I could have gone elswhere for the merchandise and now I wished I did.

I waited almost 2 months and never heard anything. I contacted them and they said they had a flood and that my order would ship Aug 27th. On Aug 29th I got a post card in the mail telling me that my order was cancelled. Something to do with combining companys.

I ordered a bed headboard about a month ago and received a confirmation. Then nothing, so I emailed them last week and they answered that the company is being bought out by another firm and they didn't have access to their records! Well, time will tell. It doesn't sound like a good omen for their future! Now I understand why they are being aquired.

We ordered in July with an expected shipment/ delivery of 8-14-08; haven't received it as of today 8-27 and there is no answer on their phone or their website..did we just get bambooseled.(I AM being nice) We need it by this Friday 8-29. They had a good selection of daybed sets which are hard to find. The only problem is that it is on back-order until the first part of September and I'm anxiously awaiting it. The picture online looked exactly like what I was looking for and I can't wait to receive it.

I placed an order for the above items and received an e-mail stating they were back ordered, then two weeks later I went check on them and saw that the order was cancelled without a notification to me. I sent an e-mail upon finding this info and have as of yet to receive aa response and it has been over a week!

My confirmation said the table would be delivered by August 15. It is now August 20 and I do not have the table. I cannot reach anyone to inquire about this. I sent an email and did not receive a response. The phone number says they cannot answer the phone and then it hangs up. I would like to talk to someone to cancel this order and then order it from somewhere else, but I can't get good contact information.

I made my initial order and it was delivered perfectly, and I gave Ward's and outstanding review. The next week, I tried to order an addl roll of wallborder that was in stock but was told it would be 2 mos to deliver. I emailed cust serv - they did not answer my question - only said the same thing I said in my email. I tried again, getting another curt useless response. I emailed again, and again asked them to just tell me WHY and that it would be a shame if I had to cancel the order and take my business elsewhere. Got another curt email saying your order is cancelled - maybe - you should have cancelled within 24 hrs of ordering. Now I don't have my product, don't know if it really got cancelled, and now do not like Ward's very much as a place to shop. It's a shame. I had added it to my favorites after the first order.

Have not received the product. The website is under construction so I can't get information from them. The order tracking number that I received shows the product has not been shipped. Have received to follow-up emails. I have not called customer service yet because expected delivery was just yesterday. Generally dissatisfied with the lack of communication.

Annoyed that the product thaat was advertised as a special, was not in stock. I saw these dishes at other online retailers, so could hve ordered from somewhere else and possibly had them in hand sooner. I don't think that a retailer should promote an intem unless the retailer has adequate stock to fulfill the orders the first time. I was pretty underwhlemed by Montgomery Ward.

I waited until several days after the expected shipping date. I called the customer service number and provided the information needed to check on my order. The CSR told me she would call me back in 15 days and let me know the status of my order. I asked if she could just check to see if the order had been delayed or had it been shipped. She then went into the fact that there had been flooding in Iowa and that had set all of the shipments back. I told her I understood about the floods because I live in Southern Minnesota. She then repeated herself and definitely let me know that she would not know anything about my order for 15 days and wouuld call me back. Three days later I received a post card in the mail with a new shipping date which is now 35 days past the original date. No explanation was given. I was not told the item was on back order or not in stock at the time of the order or on the post card I received. I have worked customer service for over 40 years and the quality of customer service I received was far below average. As to whether or not I would order from you in the future or not is undecided. I shopped Montgomery wards for 20 years in the retail stores before they closed and was always satisfied. I have ordered from Montgomery Wards in the past 2 years and have been somewhat satisfied. Thank you

I placed the order and received comfirmation of the order as well as a date of delivery now it is two weeks after the delivery date and I still have not received the product.

Delivery of that product was hampered by delivering the first time to the wrong address. I am now awaiting delivery of another item that I ordered on June 22, which is being delayed due to the flooding at your facility. I had ordered two items on June 22, but when I heard it would be at least the middle of August before it was shipped, so I cancelled the tent, as it will no longer be needed by then!

if i had to, i would but other than that NO. too slow in receiving any info. email to open tracking, nothing opens, takes too long to hear from customer service. wards has changed over the years as i used to have an account over 25 yrs ago and no problems. to this date, i have not received any items.

My last phone call, the agent was to busy to assist me. She transferred me to another Agent. The second agent and the previous agents do not understand my frustration AND delimi I am enduring a great amount of fur station. I still have not received the headboard. My value for Merchant s= eadboard was scheduled for delivery on or about July 25, 2008. Wards owes me $12??.?? and if I cannot receive this item I WILL REQUEST A REFUND. I am sorry you did not allow me to complete my survey correctly. You erased my message and shifted the contents around. This is the same service I received from Wards when placing orders. You owe me $12?.??. I will request a refund if the hrsfnpstf headboard is not received.

I ordered the futon covers and they were to come by the end of July. They did not come I did not get an e-mail telling me they were back ordered until September. Had to go on line to find this out and when I tried to call CS could not get through so I still do not know what is happening to my order.

ive made several purchaes through the montgomery ward company and have been very pleased with the products....ive also noticed that the products i have ordered are cheaper then they are in the stores. every time ive had to call customer service they have been very polite and helpful. i am still waiting for a couple purchases delayed due to rapids city iwoa floods. even though its been over a month i will wait patiently. i hope to continue shopping at montgomery wards and i tell my friends and family about thier company. thank you for having me as a very pleased customer.

I have not yet recieved the items that i ordered and am very disapointed, especially since i thought i could count on good service at montgomery ward, i tried to contact them and see where my package is and when i can expect it and havent heard back from them yet!

I placed my order on 7/1/08 & as 7/20/08 have not received product yet. I placed a call to the customer service dept and after 6 attempts I finally got through only to be on hold for 25 minutes waiting to speak to someone for less then 5 minutes.

Two emails sent with no response. Ordered product on June 29th and they have no way to know if my product has shipped or not. This I found out after being on hold for over 15 minutes. It is now the 20th of July.
