I am currently deployed in Iraq. These people and their customer service are among the worst I have dealt with in my entire purchasing career. As a military member deployed counting on them to assist us they have proved to be a complete failure. I would strongly advise against dealing with this company at all cost. They are not interested in earning your money – they just want it.

If I need any replacement for any component on my notebook, I know I can trust Notebookparts.

Living in Luxembourg, I wanted to order a replacement charger for a Dell; I could not do it through the Dell web site, so I had to call and provide every detail by phone; the price: 110 euros, delivery time: 10 working days.

I tried Notebookparts; price: $55, that is 40 euros. The total delivery time was 2 weeks, the same as Dell proposed (although I guess that Dell would have arrived earlier).

No problems.

Outstanding and professional service. I called to verify the Fed-ex tracking number. They gave me the info and checked the status at Fed-Ex themselves.
They processed and shipped the part I ordered as promised.
The part I received was new and in excellent working condition.
A nice touch is the gold, oval sticker they applied, "Thank You for Your Order".

I'll be a return customer that's for sure.

I am attending college in MD. My notebook ac adapter head broke when my roommate tripped over the cord. I needed a replacement ASAP so I ordered next day shipping. I got a call from a customer service rep who asked if I would like to downgrade to the less expensive option of ground shipping because they were also located in MD and it was pretty much guaranteed to get to me by the next day anyway.

Incredibly frustrating. I ordered the correct battery for my laptop. I paid their premium price and paid for fast delivery because I was leaving for an extended business trip to China. They sent a different battery. Not by mistake; they didn't have in stock what they claimed they did. Then John at notebookparts.com insisted that the battery they sent was a higher capacity substitute for what I ordered and that I should keep it. Problem is, when you install it, you can't open the laptop up. The screen bumps into the bigger battery in the back so that it raises only one inch from the keyboard. Then he said I was rude to him and he would not send the correct battery I ordered and paid for. Now I am about to leave on my business trip without a second battery for my laptop.

I have ordered LCD for my IBM Laptop , the LCD was not for the model I have ordered , l have requested to cancel the order immediately before they shipped it, however they have shipped it to me and they refused to return the item.

Buyers Beware of the site, they are really really dishonest .

I advice you to buy form some where else , I have ordered my LCD from Blisscomputers which shipped immediately.

This store was great. I had originally bought an AC adapter from them and had a great experience with their prices, shipping, and staff. Then I had to buy a battery to replace my old one on my Sony VAIO. I knew where to go. Notebookparts.com is a great store. Their prices are often the best on the market, they have same day shipping, and a great staff that really cares. I have recommended them to all of my friends. All of them have been impressed. What I like most about this store is that they are honest. I was told I was getting an original part and that's what I got. Every time. The same goes for all of my friends and family who have used the site. Notebookparts.com is my one-stop shop for anything I need for my laptop.

shopping was easy and description was good, until I received the goods. I had ordered a CPU Fan assembly for a HP notebook computer. They did not have the best prices but was fair, which was why I decided to order from here. Product was available and was shipped right away. when I received the product, IT WAS USED!!! The kit had lots of fingerprints on it, it was clanky with loose parts in it, and had very obvious trace of it being used. I contacted customer service for an answer as to why they were selling an used item without clearly indicating so, they forwarded me to RMA dept to return, without answering my question.

I WOULD NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!

I placed an order over the phone for particular external floppy drive for my son's laptop. I ordered a specific Brand and Model to match his laptop. The salesperson told me it was in stock. When the floppy drive arrived, it was a different brand and model. I called back and another salesperson told me that they reserve the right to make a substitute if the item was not in stock with a like kind. Well the like kind was a different brand, model and half the cost I paid for the original one a placed the order for. So not only was I deceived (item being in stock), they frauded me (never told me about the substitute policy), they ripped me off (I paid money up front for a part that I found out was listed as half the cost I paid). WOW! I never experienced this blatant deceitfulness and fraud before. Please be careful doing business with this company. Salesperson sound sincere but it could end up costing you more in the long run (time, expense, frustration, dollars).

NotebookParts.com is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

I tried to purchase from them a Pentium 4-M 2.6 GHz CPU (SL6WZ), which they advertized as being in stock. I placed an online order and, unlike normal vendors, they charged my credit card straight away.

I tried to call them several times afterwards and they assured me that my item was in stock and would be shipped to me ASAP.

A week passed and the order status was showing as "PROCESSING." I called them again and they said that the item was out of stock!!! They said though they would have it back in stock in 1 - 2 weeks.

That was a lie. I got both sick and tired of waiting and cancelled the order. Still waiting for a full refund.

If you want to have peace of mine, DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM!!!

I had a great experience with this company. It was really easy to order off their website. An extremely intuitive order process. Got my order within 3 days. VERY pleased with the customer service. Our Toshiba laptop's charger had failed, we were desperate to get another one right away,here it was a Friday night, Toshiba had one but the waiting time was two weeks. We found the cheapest to be notebookparts.com, ordered it on line asked for Express shipping and Monday morning it was at our door. We would order from this company again. I will admit, we were fearful that our order may be held up, our bill comes to our PO Box, which was not the same as the shipping address, I was delighted to see that it did not create a problem for us. The best prices and service I've ever gotten from a store. I found the exact things I wanted, exactly like I wanted them. I was a little confused about a certain item and I called in to their store. They pulled a bait-and-switch scam on me. I ordered an ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 for my HP laptop for $179.99. The next day an employee called me and said that they don't have the 9200, but they do have the 7500; it has the same amount of memory and it's the same price. So I said OK. Then later I went to HP's site to check it out and found that the 7500 sells for $90 less because it's an older model with less features. So, I ordered the 9200, got the 7500, but paid the 9200 price. And I can't return it and break even because of their Draconian return policy. So beware when you buy from this company.

I ordered a battery from them on Tuesday on I received it on Friday. They emailed me a tracking number and when I was unsure about the part I had ordered being the correct one, they were very friendly. I will DEFINITELY shop here again if I need anything for my laptop.

Very nice people to deal with. Call them twice and almost immediately got someone on the phone. Were able to answer a lot of my questions and knew their stuff. Fast shipment, was ordered on 8/13/04 and arrive on 8/16/04 (they are in MD and i am in VA, but still it's almost next day shipping considering i just had to wait for the weekend to pass) Drive was brand new and I was able to install immediately. Very quiet drive, I guess my old HD was damaged many years ago.

Ordered a fijitsu 20gb HD ( F2072-69113 ) for HP Notebook n5350, got it from them for $129, plus $10 for shipping. HP wanted $300 (10 gig)- $400 (20 gig) for the drive, and they don't even install it for you. I Saved alot of money. Now my dad (schoolteacher) has a great notebook to bring to him for school.

I'm glad to see that there is a company (kinda) close to home that still provides excellent service.
