I received the new product timely and as represented. I had a few uptight moments when I realized after hitting the tracking button that 3 items were ordered instead of 1. I had logged into their website twice earlier and confirmed the order but was undecided and closed it out before entering credit card info and hitting the "Submit" button. However, the website had accumulated the items but did not disclose the quantity ordered prior to submitting. OEL never answered the telephone but luckily responded to an email sent to shipping and corrected the order.

The box came with one of the cables missing and dead batteries for the remote. When I called and emailed to complain, I wasn't offered ant replacement of these items. I didn't insist on it because I found both items at home but couldn't use the converter for my TV anyway. But I think the store should have offered the replacement of these missing items to me.

I wanted to order 3 converters, 2 covered by discount coupons. It was not clear to me that I could only order as many as I had coupons, and had to place a separate order for the third at full price. My order was accepted in full and I received a confirmation. LATER, I rec'd an email describing my error and asking that I order the third one separately. I did, then emailed to make sure that neither was filled twice. I rec'd a confirmation email that both were ok.
Too much follow-up - should be CLEARLY NOTED on the order page that you must place separate orders....

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ...I bought a DTV converter. It shipped after 4 weeks with very little communication and only after I email many times for an order status. It finally arrived and it reeked of cigarette smoke and had a hair and oily finger prints on the remote. So they shipped me a used converter. They made me pay the freight to return it. Then they lost it for 2 weeks. Then they shipped me another used converter. They claim they have to open every box before they ship it. This is a scam. They ship used converters. They don't answer their phone ever, always goes to voice mail. They don't answer emails until you threaten to use the BBB...which I did.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE. They are probably the shadiest, most incompetant online merchant I have ever used in 5 years of online shopping. I ordered a DTV converter which was "in stock" at the time of ordering. After several days passed without so much as a confirmation that they received my order, I called and was told it was backordered and would ship Jan 30... I'm writing this on February 10th, and I just NOW received a shipment notification... 11 days later than they told me. No update was ever given to notify me of a further delay.
In short, they do not communicate with you; they do not have reliable data on their product pages; and their customer service is appalling. |

I ordered a product that was marked "in stock", and selected 2nd day air shipping. I recieved a confirmation of receipt of my order via email, but I received no further notification that my order had shipped, so I contafcted the seller by phone and by email. Several telephone attempts on consecutive days yielded the same recorded message no matter what time of day I called. Telephone messages and emails are still unanswered Weeks after ordering, I have no confirmation of shipment or explanation from the vendor. BEWARE! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT!

I am very pleased with a recent transaction with OEL. I ordered an electric shaver. When it did not come, I informed OEL. Their investigation determined that the shipment was lost by one of the major package delivery services. OEL offered me a full refund or another shaver, this one a slightly more expensive newer and presumably better model. I chose the second option, and the shaver was shipped to me promptly.

Merchant promptly responded to my concern that the unit may have been previously used, reassuring me that it was indeed a brand new unit. No further problems with the unit, and I would definitely recommend this merchant to others.

I called the company for more than 30 times in a week and had to pay overnight shipping to USPS to ship the gift i bought from the company. They told me in 2-4 days, actually it took more than 9 days !!!!!!! otherwise every thing was good, and the answer machine and the communication system was very difficult.... I hope you guys improve. I liked your email communication stuff. Good luck in teh future.

Everything went fine with the order. The real test of course is when something goes wrong - which didn't happen. I purchased with Online Elec. because of their 30 day return policy. I would purchase from them again.
