PC Connection

This is by far the worst online merchant I have ever had to deal with. My 24hr guaranteed ship was non-existent. I called a week after ordering to find out the status I was told I cannot purchase because I do not have a land line. The women was very rude insisting I must have a land line telephone everyone does. Then they wanted my employers information (phone number, website, address, etc.) They already billed my credit card by this point. I had to cancel my order when I was dealing with theses people then I received an email saying it wouldn't be canceled until I call back. I have never had this much trouble shopping online.

I recently purchased a Pink Acer Aspire Netbook with a 6-cell battery from PC Connection.  I had searched everywhere for this item, both in my local area stores and on the internet.   It was difficult to find one that was Pink and also had a 6-cell battery.

My internet search turned up a number of suppliers, but PC Connection was the site that offered the best price, the best display of information, and free shipping to boot. 

I am blown away by their fast and courteous service, great prices, and great searchable website; they are quite simply put a great overall supplier.  Not only that, my netbook arrived a day earlier than they promised.  The item arrived well-packaged inside its manufacturer's box, that had been placed in a larger box, in which the smaller box was cushioned in layers of puff bags.  My new netbook was snug and safe from the jarring impacts of shipping.  PC Connection also maintained email contact with me, advising me of receipt of my order and various eamils with shipping advisories.

Everything arrived as ordered.  WOW.  I'll use them again and refer my friends.  I am so impressed by their professional behavior.  They are a model for other internet suppliers to envy.

Chose this retailer because of free shipping, no tax, and they had the lowest price. Macbook was in stock as stated. Shipping was free and relatively fast. Laptop arrived well-packed. Customer service answered questions I had before purchase very quickly; I have not had to contact them after purchase. Very happy with purchase.

Called to place an order for a thermal printer, I satated I needed it fast, so I paid for Overnight shipping. The next day the order did not show up, I called them and a sleepy customer service rep told me that the order was not shipped because they needed additional info regarding my credit card. I never received a call or e-mail from PC Connection regarding any issues, so I was very upset and told the CSR to just cancel the order, she said "alright" and hanged up the phone. This company seems to have too much business to care about one upset customer. BEWARE

I ordered the TV and at check out I was told that the order would be processed and shipped that day. When I did not get a shipping confirmation I emailed customer service 3 days later and was notified that the item is on backorder. It has been 10 days and it is still backordered.

Placed an order for VAIO FW280JH : 2.4GHz on Black Friday. On Monday get an email that PCConnection made a mistake in description of the item, and it is really VAIO FW230JH : 2GHz. So they offered to send that instead (Bait and switch?). I went to their website again and checked the ofered Laptop description, and still desided to buy it cause it had BR-ROM. I called them and requested that offer. When I went over the item description with them they aknowledged that there is no BR-ROM (another mistake?!). I eneded up not buying from PCconnection.com - I used newegg instead - fast, reliable, guaranteed. Just loved newegg them.

I purchased the Ipod Touch as a Christmas gift for my daughter. It was received as promised. However, I haven't opened it other than to examine the pkg to make sure the order was correct and the item wasn't visibly broken. Otherwise, I am very pleased with purchasing from PC Connection.
