Online tracking was unable to find my order.
eMail that advised of shipping would be more usefull if it included the UPS/Fedex Tracking number, rather than just stating it was shipped and which carrier was used.

I'm usually very careful about checking out an online merchant before ordering, however I was so delighted with free shipping and no tax from Photo ALley that I purchased my Nikon Coolpix camera first, then. to my horror, read the reviews.
I would be terribly remiss if I didn't immediately write this review about the WONDERFUL shopping experience I had with Photo Alley. The camera was shipped the next day by FED EX and arrived one day earlier than expected. The process was seamless-even the phone call to get a tracking number for Fed Ex. I would certainly order from them again. Perhaps Photo alley in the past has deserved their negative reviews. I feel they must have gotten themselves together and improved dramatically from 3 or 4 years ago. I wouldn't hesitate to use them |

i went on several sites but was having trouble with the coments of other customers and the discriptions of the products were not clear. when i went on this site customers were not comenting badly and the distription of all the items were very clear and i was able to choose the item i needed with out worry that i might have to take the time and effort to return it. it seemed they wanted me to be a happy customer and i liked that.

They are awful! The rebates offered were for the parent company, Ritz, and then were rejected because they weren't purchased at Ritz. What a racket. Multiple email and phone calls and nothing. Avoid these guys!!!!!!!

I bought the CREATIVE on NOV 23...i RECEIVED IT ALMOST 1 MONTH LATER IN A not WORKING CONDITION....iT TOOK photoalley more than 1 month to authorize me for the return of the item....today is MARCH 13 and PHOTOALLEY never paid me back....I notified PAYPAL and they are trying to get my money back..in the whole process I called PHOTOALLEY more than 15 times...I'll never ever buy anything from PHOTTOALLEY again and as long I'm alive I'll let people know about my experience buying with PHOTTOALLEY...

We returned a monitor unopened to Photo Alley over a month ago and we have yet to receive a refund. We have emailed and called numerous times and we get no response other than "you will receive a refund when we hear from the appropriate department." It has been over a month since the monitor was received back by Photo Alley and no refund!! Emailing or calling them is like talking to a door.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PHOTOALLEY.COM !!!! They took my order on 11/24/06, waited until 12/05/06 to "ship" my order and bill my credit card. On 12/18/06 I emailed them to ask for a trace on shipping since I had not received the item. They sent back an email saying the order was cancelled since the product was discontinued by the manufacturer; the problem is they never credited my charge card! I was told by my credit company I had to wait 15 days to give them the time to credit my card. I will dispute the charge and get my money back if I need to, but don't buy from this vendor. The accounting practices they use are a bit shady. They should have issued the credit immediately. Now I need to find a new Christmas gift 4 days before Christmas.

I purchased a 500 GB drive from them with no problems. They delivered as promised in a well protected box. I have since added the drive to my Apple and it works like a dream. The best part was that they have the lowest price of all vendors, big smile.

They started off charging me for the lights I ordered using the name RitzCamera. I had no problem with this. My lights were paid for and shipped. After this they charged me again as Photoalley.com. I had a problem with this and called customer service. After 45 minutes on hold I tried their online help. I would get 1 line response every 10 minutes. I stated that I was charged again for the item the day after they shipped it. All they had to reply was "We did not charge you twice sir". My account states differently. The online help was useless. Finally I called my bank and they called photoalley and got the charge removed. I will never use them again for even the simplest of items and recommend you do the same.
On the night of the 21st after I got right of the second charge and my order was listed as closed, they billed my card a third time. So after my order was shipped they billed my card two extra times....once in the morning and once at night. When I called to get this taken care of they told me "Your bank probably screwed up." |

Received items in 2 days,was shorted more than half the order. Talked to customer service (Lawrece)who said they'd look into it.I also followed up with an e-mail including ~7 attached photo files showing what was received and to show the box was not big enough for my complete order. Their records indicated 1 box @ 10lbs. had been delivered. I then called customer service (Gino) again on thursday(next day) to expedite the order - I had family visiting for the purpose of organizing and filing my parents photo's -family photo's. I was told he could not do anything that evening, but someone would definitely follow up with me on Friday, next day. No call was received Friday, Saturday, or Monday. Tuesday, I finally got a call from Debbie acknowledging the fact that my complete order was not shipped.Do you still want the order? Yes was my response. I received the order 3 days later. I acknowledge the fact shipping errors can happen, however, the customer service received which was friendly, fell very short of expectations. It does not take 4 business days to verify an inventory, especially when that shipping department knows the items had to weigh over 10 Lbs. and could not fit in a box that ups would not take without an oversized charge. In this case, I feel a proper name would have been CUSTOMER DIS-SERVICE. Even though they could not meet a commitment they agreed to, they did not send an e-mail or call to at least inform the customer they fell short of their goal and are at least trying to help them in a timely manner and set a new commitment or goal.

was very worried that there was 0 feedback for this store and they claimed to have a just released item that others were all out of stock and back ordered. called and they clearly confirmed it was in stock and would truly be delivered to me in 2 days. it was. very pleasantly surprised when it arrived a day ahead of schedule, the next day. very professional. maybe I was lucky, but I would shop here again.
