Ordered a Weber S-670 grill from Rainbow, saved about $800 verses going to Lowes. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect considering the price difference, but I was happy to see my grill show up about 5 days after the order (by common carrier). My only complaint was the lack of a confirming email getting sent out after the purchase, but I did get a shipping confirmation a few days later. I see loads of bad stories on these guys, I can't speak for them, but I had a good experience.

Place the order on Sunday for a grill I would need 2 week-ends later. Followed up on Monday - was told no problem, grill would ship Tuesday and I would receive e-mail notification. No notification came and I called back on Wednesday - was told it was on the truck and would leave that day. Never received notification. Web site asserts shipping would take place in 1-3 days. Called back on Thursday, was told it was on the truck and would ship that day. I asked for my money back and was told there would be a 15% restocking fee. I had no proof it was on the truck as they said the same things both prior days. I'm contesting with my credit card. They said they would cancel my order and send an e-mail to that effect. Never received any e-mails. While not rude, the staff is certainly not friendly. Wouldn't recommend using them.

The price was so attractive I called before placing my order and was told the grill was out of stock but would only be delayed by a week. So I placed my order. Each week I was told the same thing -- next week, maybe. Meanwhile, I can buy this grill anywhere for more money. I have canceled my order and making the purchase with a reputable company. They disappointed me for Father's Day, I won't let them ruin our July 4th.

I ordered a refrigerator and after more than a week went by with no sort of communication from the merchant, I called about my order. The girl was very short and agitated on the phone as if I was interrupting something else. She told me that she couldn't tell me what was going on with my order and that I would have to call back on Monday to speak with a manager. I called on Tuesday, talked with the same girl which I noticed the same attitude, and she told me that my product was discontinued. I am glad I called as who knows how long I would have waited before they would inform me of this. She was quick to have me try to find something else, however I decided I better just cancel and possibly pay a little more for the item, but receive better service. Luckily they hadn't pulled the money from my account yet so I didn't have to hassle with that.

Product was shipped very quickly. Customer service was fantastic. One small item damaged in shipping was ordered immediately and shipped directly to my home - no questions asked and no charge. I highly recommend Rainbow Appliance and will use them again if needed.

Placed the order on 5/17, the amount of $1198.00 was held as a purchase on my bank account for 6 days then put back into my account, I only got the order invoice via e-mail but never anything else, I e-mailed to find out the status of the order on 5/29 and still have not heard from them. So I believe they just don't have the product and are unwilling to contact me so I assume there is no order now.

Shipping was extremely fast. I placed the order on Monday, on Tuesday I got a call from the shipper that they would arrive the following day. The appliances were brought into the garage 15' from where they were to be installed. The price was about the best around, and with the low, combined shipping and rebate, it was a steal.

After the Premier gas stove was confirmed with an order number by Rainbow Appliance and charged to my credit card at the listed price, I was informed the price increased $150. I agreed to pay the difference. After 2 months, I still did not have the unit. I was told it was back ordered, sitting in the warehouse, etc. I finally called Premier and was told that the unit had never been ordered.

Ordered on April 3rd. On April 7th I contacted by email asking for a ship date. On April 14 I was contacted via email by Rainbow asking if I was still interested in the purchase. April 15th I responeded via email saying I was still interested. On April 17th was contacted via email asking to for me to call the sales rep Monday to make sure item was shipped Monday even though talked to service agent April 16th via phone. Sent email and called Service agent to confirm still interested on April 20th. Contacted by Rainbow on April 24th item was to be shipped on April 24th. Called Rainbow April 31st asking when item was to arrive. Told by Rainbow item was backordered yet again. I cancelled order. I will not attempt to purchase from Rainbow again. Recommend others stay away.

I was initially apprehensive about ordering online but rainbow appliance's helpful staff helped ease my fears.
After a horrid experience at a local big box store, I was glad to see I had options.
Rainbow appliance is a great place to buy air conditioners. They had hundreds of models to choose from. The helpful staff is knowledgeable enough to keep me from feeling overwhelmed. Also all of their appliances are categorized well.
Next time I need a Blu ray player tv dishwasher microwave or anything else I will contact rainbow appliance. They are friendly and willing to match any price.
The free safety chef they gave me is what really turned a good pleasant experience into a great one. I never expected to write a review about my appliance purchase but getting something free did it for me.
That safety chef is awesome. I had no fire extinguisher in my kitchen getting one as a gift has helped me feel safe and secure.
Thank you rainbow appliance. Companies that take care of their customers should do well and I hope this helps.

I ordered the LP 24" bottom freezer refrigerator online on 3/15/09. Very easy online ordering process. When the charged hadn't been posted to my account in a few days, I called to find out why. The woman I spoke with was very pleasant and helpful and was able to tell me within a few minutes that it was on a 2 week back order, my account wouldn't be charged until the order was filled. Turns out that it came in sooner than the anticipated 2 weeks and was delivered by their local delivery service (since I'm in NJ). Their delivery people were courteous and professional. All in all, a very positive experience.

Worst online shopping experience I've ever had. I placed an order, never received acknowledgement of my order, had to ask for a confirmation to me e-mailed. Never heard again, had to contact them to see if my item shipped, only then was told that they were waiting for the item to come in..but would be shipped the beginning of the following week. The following week comes, I e-mailed them to see if item shipped...no response. By the end of the week, I called..left a message asking for my order to be canceled. Followed up by e-mailing my request to them and asked them to please confirm that they rec'd the cancelation request. I never heard from them. This is a company with REALLY bad customer care....how can they sell things that they do not have, better yet...how do they not contact the customer to let them know what is going on?

Ordered a TV 03/11/2009 and received an invoice/order number via email the same day. Nothing more. I called to check status on 03/19/2009 and talked (?) to a completely unprofessional lady in Customer Service (?) (she didn't even seem to be sure that was her department). She mumbled alot and was incoherent at times and I finally got her to look up the order number and say the TV would be available in a week or two. I canceled the order which didn't seem to matter to her at all (hopefully she followed through on her end and, in fact, canceled the order). Since my credit card hasn't been charged yet I feel lucky. I'm monitoring that account daily just in case.

When I called to ask questions, I always got a knowledgeable sales person. That is why I chose to order with them (you got to deal with real people). Not only was the price great, they had just what we needed and they really knew how to help me. Service with Rainbow Appliance was top notch. They were helpful when I ordered, the shipment came faster than expected and the shipping company they used was great. The trucking company called to schedule a delivery, but I was in such a hurry for these air conditioners because we had a closing coming up on the place where we were to install them, so they were even helpful in allowing me to pick up my merchandise directly with good directions and everything.
