Smooth Fitness

I had such a great experience, I ordered my elliptical on a Monday and received it 8 days later! I ordered the in room delivery and would highly recomend it, this unit is heavy. But that's what makes it so great, I feel like I'm at the gym!!  I'm so happy and I've already lost 30 pounds! Do yourself a favor, buy a Smooth Fitness elliptical!

Disaster! I would never buy from this store again!!
They would not deliver the treadmill I ordered at a time I could be home. They could not deliver it any time on a Wednesday or after 4:00 P.M. on any day or on a weekend. When I was forced to cancel the order, much against my will, they refunded me about $900.00 out of the almost $1600.00 I paid for the treadmill and set up which I never received.
The entire experience was unbelievable and aggravating.
Everyone was so polite. They listened patiently to my problem and complaint and seemed nice and sympathetic as they passed me up the line to the head of customer service but they would not do anything to help me.
When I had to cancel the order I expected them just to refund my money. I could not believe they had the nerve to deduct $690.00 from my payment of almost $1600.00. I had to spend time writing a report of the problem to my credit card company in order to dispute the charges.

The box was in reasonably good shape considering the size and weight, damage free. Assembly was a snap, and has worked flawlessly since. Wife loves it, even made a comment on how quiet it is! Wish all my purchases went this well!

During the first Gulf War, I developed symptoms frequently referred to as "Gulf War Syndrome". Through physical exercise and mild medications (but primarily cardio-vascular fitness!) I have minimized those symptoms to a very tolerable level, allowing me to live a normal life. Thank you! :)

I have exercised on the treadmill for several months now and I love it. I can do it with the television on and not have the sound blasting since the machine is so quite. I have trained for 5k and a 10k on the machine and it has performed great. I look forward to many years of service from this machine.

I think your treadmill is far superior to the retail store and most of the sporting goods store brands that are available here locally. With the exception of the high end treadmills that were out of my price range, I could not find a better treadmill than the Smooth, even for a couple $1000 more. A great product for a great price. Buying over the internet was not 100% certain if quality for the price would match my expectations, but I have been very pleased with the quality for the price and it has met my exercise needs very well. Agree with the reviews I read that in *$1000 price range it was best treadmill I could buy.

I was extremely pleased, when I called with questions, I was told that actually there were only a limited number of the model I was looking at still in stock and they were even further discounted from the on-line price. I snapped up the offer and I am extremely pleased with the company and my treadmill.

Treadmill is of good quality, with good features. I walk. I do not run so I wanted a mid range treadmill. I have really enjoyed being able to walk no matter what the weather. E-mails regarding my order were very good and the treadmill was delivered much faster than I expected. It was well packed and arrived in excellent condition.

I did a lot of research before I bought the treadmill and I was totally comfortable buying this one, from the customer and professional reviews, to the warranty on the product to the (smooth) way the whole transaction went, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend smooth fitness to my family and friends. by the way I love the treadmill.

I purchased the Smooth Fitness Elliptical 7.4 online and after assembly, I noticed a scraping sound coming from the wheel area, as if something were rubbing against the plastic cover at the same point of each rotation. I called this problem in, emailed too, and basically it took Smooth Fitness 2 entire months to send one guy to evaluate, then another guy later to fix this problem. This was a 10 minute fix as the service person only had to re-align a belt that was causing this problem - actually a 2 month, 10 minute fix.

My overall satisfaction of the customer service was HORRIBLE! The unit itself was not as good as I expected, but good enough. I would recommend sticking to testing ellipticals in the stores and looking at the reputable Precor and Life Fitness. It's just not right buy something for ~2K without test riding it first (I regret that), however I still like this thing enough to be OK with the money spent.

These people are very responsive when making a sale, but once I bought the product, they cut me off. I had serious issues with my treadmill, but there is no customer support!

And be careful about the ratings here. The first 10 or so ratings sound like they all came from the company itself. Check out those "people" and you'll realize that they were fake accounts created just to pump Smooth's products.

I purchased a Smooth treadmill about six years ago. I put about six hundred miles on it and it still runs like a champ. No problems whatsoever. In fact, I'm looking into their ellipticals at the moment.
