Textbooks.com

I have been shopping at textbooks.com for about two years now and have purchased several books.  They have saved me so much money!!!  Their prices were literally half the price of my college's bookstore and usually around a third less than the other book retail stores.  Every book I have received from them has been like brand new (I always buy used); the shipping is free and they deliver quickly.  You can even sell some of your books back without the hassle of responding to buyers and such like other web sites.I highly recommend this company!!!  I promise you, that you will not be disappointed.  Let's put it this way...this is the only site that I have written a response for, so that's got to tell you something.  Take the hassle out of ordering college books with textbooks.com.

I needed books immediatly, selected overnite shipping, about $20...books not recieved yet(I should have gotten them 6 days ago),called, was told they were sent a way I didn't even see on selection (by ground??)and they would come the beginning of this week. I was told I would get a shipping label for return by email, I did, and a call the next morning for a refund on my $20 shipping fee as it was not my error...I received no call, I am very upset, I really needed those books on time and had to purchase them already.

the book that i purchased is for a class that i will take during the coming school year. There is a discrepancy in the ISBN number even though the picture of the textbook on Amazon shows to be identical. I hope I have the right textbook. I may be hesitant to shop again with Textbooks.com because of this discrepancy.

Everything was excellent except the condition of three of the four books that I ordered-they were beat up and had writing/drawings on numerous pages. I have ordered used textbooks before that were in excellent shape (from Amazon.com). Somewhere it should of said that the books were in poor condition.

The definition of used should be better explained. I would have paid more for books that had been "more gently used".

there was just a confusion on the note taped on the book. It said "rental". I thought I bought the book to own it. I have to email and confirm whether they have sold the book to me or just rented it to me. They replied back and said taht I bought it to own it.
