We think that it is only fair to allow for companies to respond to epinion reviews since your viewers are making purchasing decision upon reading these reviews. Most of our furniture deliveries are not handled by UPS or DHL but rather specialized delivery companies. Usually a customer's delivery is the only delivery that the delivery company will be performing that day. Appointments need to be made so customers and delivery company must communicate. Regarding pictures, we ask for pictures if items arrive damaged so that we have record of how item looked upon arrival at delivery point for claims purposes. Most customers have digital cameras and can easily provide these pictures for us. We are the only teak furniture company that offers free return shipping if you are not happy with your purchase however we ask that the furniture be return in its original packaging so that we have a way to return it to our warehouse. This is not hard if you do not completely assemble the furniture by inserting the wooden dowels. Our furniture can be put together and tested without full assembly to allow for easy disassembly and repackaging if necessary.

Disappointing

Bought a table and two benches from Westminster, only to find out that Home Depot sold the same things for MUCH cheaper! Once I received the items, they were missing parts. Assembly is not as easy as it sounds, as the dowels would mushroom if not inserted correctly. Had to make arrangements to stay home all day to get the furniture delivered and the driver missed the originally promised appointment time. The customer service rep was kind of rude and made me call the delivery terminal to schedule the appointment.

Money Back Guarantee Not all it is Cracked up to Be

Item was not in stock although it said it was in stock. They called me to convince me to switch to another item. I did. When it arrived it was cracked. They wanted me to pay for pictures! In their money back guarantee they state you must repackage the furniture back into original packing materials. This is impossible if you are not a carpenter!
