They say they guarantee their wines, but you only have 30 days to complain. I have a large cellar and don't always get thye chance to taste my wines that quickly. When I told them I was unhappy with my purchase, the woman on the phone said "too bad". When I emailed my complaint, they offer 20% off shipping on my next order. I won't do business with them again.

Ordered some hard alcohol, when i received it i tasted it, it tasted like it was impure. I vomited immediately after tasting. seemed like it had gasoline, or rubbing alcohol in it. I called the store, and waited for 10 mins before my call was answered. I spoke with someone who then passed me over to the manager. The manager was extremely rude, and argued with me every step of the way. he told me that they are simply the "middle man" which is ridiculous. It was not worth sending it back. I have stopped payment on my credit card. I will never shop with this company ever again. I found another webstie that i have purchased from twice, they are very sweet and very easy to get a hold of. wittyswine.com everything is straight forward with them. It says right on the website if the item is out of stock, so there's no guessing.

I ordered a case of wine 2 weeks ago and got the wine at my door within 3 days. The wine was exactly as described. Last week I was looking for a specific wine and I called them on the phone. They helped me find the wine I wanted and again got the wine to me in less then 4 days. I think I am a shopper for life now, love their prices and service. Thanks Winechateau.

It took about 10 days to receive half my order. It was taking so long I called customer service. The girl who answered said that only one bottle of wine was in stock, so only one shipped the day I called. I received it three to five days after that call. When I asked about why it was taking so long, she just said it was because the website said it could take up to so many days, which I have forgotten the amount. No where on my packing slip did it mention anything about my other bottle. If I had not called, I would have had no idea why I didn't receive the second bottle.

It was awful. After 2 weeks I had not received anything. I called and was told I would be called back. No one called. I called again and was told 2 wines were unavailable. I should have been contacted immediately. I had ordered the wines for a birthday and a gift and I felt really let down.

I was very happy with the on-line ordering, the shipping, the tracking and the communication. However, the wine that I ordered was not as good as other bottles of the same wine that I have had at restaurants.

WineChateau was the only merchant I found that offered a particular wine that I wanted (Michel Picard pinot noir). The price seemed reasonable. The ordering process was straightforward and presented no problems. Delivery was prompt. The order was fulfilled in full in one shipment and arrived in good condition. The shipping charge was higher than I would have expected.

The order specifically indicated no susstitutions. Two out of three products were the wrong vintage. Upon contacting them there response was, " Oh, thats our guys in the warehouse" with no apology whatsoever. I returned the two wrong items and am still waiting for a credit to my credit card. I talked to a manager and was apalled at her attitude.

Ordered a wine that was in small case production. Received a confirmation on the order and two shipping confirmations. Never advised that the small case production not available - order arrived about 10 days later, 6 as opposed to 12 bottlles. Called to find out what the problem was and when to expect my small case production wine, REVANA,- talked with the same person two or three times - almost like speaking with a robot - response never changed and sort of a "too bad" attitude. Would NOT shop at Wine Chateau in future if I can find the wine elsewhere.
