On Monday, at about 5:30 PM, I ordered the $25 DVD set, one of their powders, the smokey eye get the look set, and the mineral concealer and foundation. I am completely satisfied with the products. I ordered 3 day shipping, and my makeup came a day after it was shipped out. I'm surprised with all the terrible reviews, because I wasn't missing anything when my order was shipped. I heard they had trouble around Christmas, though. If you're not sure whether or not to order from this site, I think you should just order a couple of items. I mean, why not? It's only going to cost you around $10. There are several coupon codes you can use. I used the code CAROLINA which is for 50% all orders up to $15. It takes off a max. of $7.50 from your order. I absolutely love ELF, and I think it's worth a shot to try them.

I use Bare Escentuals, Mac etc. and was very skeptical about trying E.L.F. Let me tell you--I know there's mixed reviews on here--But the make-up was great!! And I received my order in 5 days!!! So, I'm not sure as to what all the issues are--But they are definitly worth a shot--For the nominal amount you'll spend--if your not happy, you can just toss it...But I think it's well worth the $!

I received my order today, and I ordered it last Wed, it took them two days to process the order, and five days the shipping, and I got them today!! I so happy!! Everything I ordered is in the mail, nothing missing or broken. I guess the customer service changed a lot I definitely would order again^^ |

First impressions last a lifetime.
I placed an order for the first time with E.L.F. and it took a little over a week before they shipped it. I emailed them asking about it and received a smart-mouthed almost hateful return email. Almost to the point of stating they had more important things to do than fill my order and ship it in a timely manner. I have ordered many things from different e-stores and never had this much trouble. The products are pretty good though. Loved the eyeliners, shadows and lip products (especially the lip balm). Not too sure about their mascara. I'm still a bit "iffy" on the foundation as well. Just don't know how my sensitive skin will react to having a face product with such a strong fragrance on it. I don't know if I will order again. Half of what I really wanted didn't get shipped. And they really need do something about their customer service. |

Well, I thought the online store was worth a shot and my reaction is mixed. One, it took nearly two weeks to get my order. Once received, my order was incomplete. I did get a little note stating that several items were out of stock and that I would not be charged for them. When I checked the website, the items were not listed as "out of stock" and I was still charged for some things I did not get. Despite all of this, The makeup itself is not bad and considering everything was less than a dollar and I didn't pay for shipping, I really cannot complain. It is certainly not top-of-the line makeup and doesn't wear very well all day long, but it is not bad for a night out. I would recommend the site to purchase colors you may not normally pick out for yourself. Afterall, for a dollar, it is worth getting just to see if something suits you.

I've been purchasing E.L.F. products for about a year now and I'm amazed how good their products are especially for a buck! I can also find few of their products at the dollar bins around the body wash aisle at Target. My faves are the super glossy lip shine, hypershine gloss, eyelash curler, eyes shadows and palettes (almost everything but not a big fan of their liquid foundation/power and plumping gloss). I noticed that they have changed some of the formulas in (I think so) in some products because they are a lot better now! When I first started ordering from eyeslipsface.com around last Feb-March '06 I would get my products pretty quickly but around September-Dec '06 it took a bit for them to process my order but I was ok with it-I mean there stuff is a buck and I think there company is still growing and they finally have everything under control now (I am assuming). I ordered in Jan and received my products like in a week and a half like normal! But anyway I love their company plus they always have special discounts so look out for that!

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Don't shop here! I ordered in October and in January I was still arguing with them over the fact that I never received my order. They told me that they sent it twice and it was a lie. I had a horrendous experience trying to contact them and kept receiving blanket responses. I don't think they actually read my questions. I finally received a refund after involving my credit card company and months of trying to resolve the issue. I almost gave up, but it was the principal. I did not want them to keep my money. I have never been treated so horribly by any other company and I will tell everyone I know about my bad experience. Don't buy anything from them!!

I don't know how I got so lucky, but my experience with Elf cosmetics was superlative. If I had seen the awful reviews first, I never would have ordered. How could my transaction have been so different? Perhaps there is new management here, in view of all the complaints. The company gets more and more press in the fashion mags. Perhaps they just cleaned up their act.
My order arrived in a few weeks, it was securely packed, all was in mint condition, and the stuff was great for the price! I've had much worse for much more money. They provided a detailed packing slip, and it was clearly marked that two items were not included. I emailed the company, and within 24 hours they contacted me with an apology, promise to ship the back-ordered items, credit to my account for $2.00, and a code # to get another $5.00 off on my next order. What more can you ask? In view of my own experience, I highly recommend Elf cosmetics. |

I ordered my products over 5 weeks ago and when I e-mailed ELF to cancel the order and refund me immediatly, then and only then did they charge my card (the very same day I sent the e-mail) and state that it was in the process of being shipped. The level of customer service is terrible and is not worth what you might potentially save (that is, if you ever see the actual product). The customer service e-mails that I have recieved back have been short and not at all courteous. I cannot believe that a company like this is able to stay in business. According to them they don't use tracking numbers either, so there is literally no way to tell when you order will be recieved. They also state that they delivery time is 7-14 days, unless they are sending via the pony express, I don't know ANY shipping facility that quotes 7-14 domestic shipping time. Thanks, Alex |

My order took 6 weeks to arrive, and they only sent half of the products; giving me a credit for the rest (they didn't even ask me if I wanted to wait until they became available). My supposed unavailable products, which they told me to keep an eye out for, are currently available on the website!! I sent an email about this, and I am waiting for a response.
They never emailed me to let me know my order was going to be delayed, I found that out myself, and they never told me about the "unavailable" products. The one time I did send them an email; they didn't even answer my question!!This company has horrible customer service. I'm disgusted with the way they do business, and if they keep it up they won't last. Plus, I've only used a few of the products I've received, and they seem to be ok, but others I know who ordered have had bad skin reactions - probably not suitable for sensitive skin. |

I was truly excited when I received an email that Bloomingdale's was starting a new line of cosmetics and everything was going to be a dollar. After I placed an order for $390 (lots of great gifts for Christmas), I later read a review stating that e.l.f. has no affiliation with Bloomingdale's and actually now has a statement on their website about this chain email going around saying how they have no clue who started it. I've emailed customer service (due to no phone number being listed online) 4 times! All I receive is this standard automated response that does not even address my concern that I ordered those cosmetics under false pretenses. In addition, I have waited over a month for my product to come and still have yet to receive anything.
I'm big on customer service, so even if the product is only $1, I will NEVER purchase from them again. Through looking around online for a number for them, here it is - 1800-231-4732. I hope it helps reduce some of the stress this company has caused. |

Beware of buying from e.l.f. I was charged for an item (that was $15--the brush set) that I never received. The package included a slip that said the item was out of stock and that I would not be charged. It also gave the customer service email address (no phone number given) in case I had any questions. I emailed three weeks ago (when I received the package) and ten days ago with no reply from e.l.f.

And they have no phone number listed on their site. When I did get their number from this site - they could not answer anything and said they had to have a specialist call me back! Its ridiculous. I would love to review the quality of this product but as it's been 15 days since I placed my order and I have yet to receive it, I cannot. The email confirmation states that products should arrive in 5-7 business days so that's a bit off. I emailed customer service and received no response and when I called, they took my number and told me it would take 3-5 days for someone to return my call. It could be that the company is a victim of it's own success but with customer service like this it may not be long before it meets its demise.
