DELIVERY SPEED..ORDERED IN MARCH..GOT THEM OVER A MONTH LATER. CUSTOMER SERVICE? THERE IS NONE. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CHARGING ME TO SHIP THEIR UNOPENED WEIGHTS BACK TO THEM AFTER i CALLED AND CANCELED MY ORDER. OF COURSE THEY DONT SHOW A CALL. WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS, FAMILY AND GYM OWNERS I EVER COME IN CONTACT WITH THAT THEY ARE THIEVES. Stay away !!!! Horrible product and customer service. I ordered the Extreme 2 , it arrived partially damaged in the box, some of the heavy parts are not packed to well. One of the pullies was defective. It took seven months for the replacement pulley!!   Read full review...

The good thing about the Bowflex is that it really does give you a great workout. When I first bought mine I was alternating between the Bowflex and free weights but now I've given up my gym membership and use my Bowflex exclusively. It really does give you a great workout and the results are quite noticeable.

The bad news about the Bowflex is that it is very cheaply constructed. There were two recalls which required adaptor kits to fix problems with things falling apart. Even with the adaptors installed you always have problems with screws falling out and such due to holes which don't quite line up correctly, etc. I would have expected better workmanship considering the price.

One note though - I purchased my Bowflex in 2000. Hopefully they've improved the design in the newer models, though I can't confirm whether they have or not.

Buyer beware! I purchased a Bowflex Series 3 treadmill in July thru Nautalis online. It quit working the first week of November and I am still waiting on something to be done. After countless calls and emails I am told that it needs a new console and that it is on back order but I should receive it the 2nd week in January. Then I still have to figure out how to install it. Thier warranty "parts and service" is a joke!

This product overall is pretty good. It takes a little while to come in the mail due to all the packages and sometimes doesn't all come in one day. The order came fully equipped with no mistakes or problems but you may have to open many packages to find the instructions and screws... Be prepared for a huge assembly job. You may not need two people but it sure is a big a job. Customer service is satisfactory. They answer your questions well and are friendly but you may be on the phone for 2 minutes waiting. Overall this is a pretty good product and provides a great workout but it is tough.

I bought a Bowflex XTL, in September 2002.
It was delivered quickly, everything was included, never had any problems with customer service.
The machine is small, quiet and it looks great.
I was unhappy with the financing, though. The interest rate was horribly high and I had to pay it off right away, rather than over next 30 years. The finance company charges you the interest rate of about $45 a month and deducts only about $3.00 a month of a loan principal. This way you pay-off your Bowflex in 30 to 35 years.
Overall experience - GOOD, financing - REALLY BAD.
It's October 2003, now. I've lost over 40 pounds, gained a ton of muscle and self-confidence. The money I've paid for that machine was the best $1300 I've ever spent.
