Perfect GPS/MP3 combo idea, less than perfect execution in the real world.

Pros: Beautiful screen, easy updates, tons of features, easy to use.

Cons: Accuracy still lacking in terms of precision positioning, poor battery life, needs improvement.

The Bottom Line: The Blackbird is a great idea, but weeks of real-word use showed it's not up to reality. Paper maps are still a must, as are sharp eyes.

Pros: brand, style, gets you where you want to go (if on route), learn from commands

Cons: quiet voice commands, takes forever to re-route, only works when plugged in

Review: UPS guy came yesterday; so I got my GPS. Looks great, works great - when you're taking the route it wants you to take. If you get off track, you're screwed. Also, if you're looking up a place, like a restaurant or mall, it takes FOREVER to locate them. ...
