The widescreen design of the Apple Cinema Display offers a natural format for arranging documents the way your brain processes them - longer wide than high. It just makes sense to be able to display a Web page and its code next to each other horizontally, or long video timelines in wide format. The display matches the sculpted aluminum enclosures of the Power Mac G5 and PowerBook. This strong, anodized aluminum also allows for an exceptionally narrow bezel, so you can use multiple displays together seamlessly. The Cinema Display hovers above your desk on a curvaceous stand, and hardly requires any pressure to adjust the viewing angle from -5 to 25, since the enclosure is the lightest 23" Apple display ever.The Cinema Display includes a FireWire 400 hub and a USB 2.0 hub, each with two ports, so you can connect a printer or scanner, or a digital camera or camcorder. Big step forward from their last 23"!

Pros: Thin .75" bezel, light, gorgeous aluminum cabinet, compatible with any Mac or PC with DVI.

Cons: Price. No height adjustment. Buttons are touch-sensitive and only work inside OS

The Bottom Line: It's all about priorities. This is without question the most visually impressive 23" monitor available, but it lacks features available on cheaper alternatives.

Great Working Space, Quality Image - a Comparison to the Dell 20" Flat Panel

Pros: Quality image, no jags when running vector graphics programs.

Cons: Expensive. The stand tilts but doesn't raise or lower.

The Bottom Line: like a breath of fresh air, finally enough space to see your work. Provides a quality picture. I'll be saving up for my next one.
