Pros: inexpensive and lightweight

Cons: breaks easily; may draw blood

The Bottom Line: You're going to have to buy a gas trimmer or put up with junk. This won't cut it.

Review: I had bought and used a lower-end Black & Decker electric for a few seasons but the plastic gears on the head eventually wore down so that no new spool would spin. So I moved up to this more powerful and hopefully more durable model. BIG MISTAKE. ...

Line feed poorly engineered

Pros: The trimming head easily rotates.

Cons: Line feed system is horrible, breaks easily, and makes this product very difficult to use.

Review: I purchased this about a 18 months ago and, although I can get the yard done, I end up swearing at the trimmer every 30 seconds. The problem is all about the line feeding system and the cap for the spool. You see, the cap can fly off when you bump it ...
