Nice features but HD is lacking

Pros: Ease of use, good picture, good features retained.
Cons: Over priced, more complicated, lesser quality HD.
The Bottom Line: Close call between Dish and Direct with latter slightly better picture but a little more complicated.

Uses as much power as a full-size refrigerator!

Pros: All functions work as advertised.
Cons: USES AS MUCH POWER AS A FULL SIZE REFRIGERATOR!
Review: I measured it with my Kill-A-Watt meter and this satellite box uses 40 watts minimum whether it's on or off. In a year that's 350 kWhr. A Kenmore model #44123 16.7 cu. ft. refrigerator uses that same amount according to the EPA's Energy Star web site. ...
