Pros: Delightful story and moral

Cons: Steig is dead, so no more stories :(

The Bottom Line: Steig surprises us with his twists while delivering good, solid storytelling.

Review: It isn't often an author can have us cheering for a dentist. Especially if the author is writing for children. It shouldn't be a surprise that the author who succeeds at doing so is William Steig, the same man who created Shrek, the much-beloved ...

Pros:

Exciting storyline and creative illustrations.

Cons: Brief image of a tooth being pulled out.

The Bottom Line: “Doctor DeSoto” is probably William Steig’s best book yet!
