This machine has a very different design with two independent drawers rather than a traditional drop-down door, making it easy to load. The drawers are operated separately, enabling you to sort wash loads effectively and giving you a genuine half load option.Economical to use, it uses as little as 9 litres of water per drawer, and has a delay start option of up to 12 hours, enabling you to take advantage of cheaper off-peak electricity.It will accommodate up to 24 29cm dinner plates, but will also take long-stemmed wine glasses. With single-touch programming (9 programmes), it remembers the last programme used, so all you need to do is press `start`. No Buyer's Remorse!

Pros: Quiet - Attractive - Energy Efficient - Fun to Use (and show off)

Cons: It can toss loose, light items around.

The Bottom Line: Quit starring at the price tag. It may be twice the cost of most dishwashers but it's easily three to four times the value.

Review: We've owned the DD-603SS (Double Drawer-Stainless Steel) for about 3 months. Just after installation my wife was having serious buyer's remorse for spending more than twice what we planned. Then she loaded it, turned it on, stood back and smiled. ...

Pros: Hi-Tech drawer design, saves energy, VERY QUIET

Cons: the drawers are too small to wash LARGE items

The Bottom Line: This is an amazingly quiet machine... better & quieter than the Bosch.
