GE Model 25942 5.8 GHz cordless phone ... not the best.

Pros: Sounds good, good range, no interference.
Cons: Unreliable memories. Answering machine records everything, not just calls. Delay in answering calls.
The Bottom Line: Because of the unreliability of the memory system, and the poor performance of the answering machine, I would recommend avoiding this model.
Review: The GE Model 25942 Series is a cordless 5.8 GHz phone with an answering machine as part of its base unit/charger. It is very reasonably priced, and can be bought from about $30-40 at most electronics stores.I always use an answering ...

GE 25942 Phone deserves zero stars

Pros: You can give each handset a name that will display on the screen
Cons: Only one handset at a time
No speaker
LCD not always readable
Audio delay when asnwering
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend the GE 25942 Cordless to anyone I had spent the same money and gotten more functionality from my previous phone.
