You know you've been playing too much Hexcite when you attempt to place your pork chops in a precise pattern beside your macaroni and cheese. When you refuse to disrupt the geometrical perfection of a freshly sliced pizza, it's time to seek professional help. Hexcite is a unique new puzzle game that Ubi Soft wisely snatched up from NEC in Japan. Coming out of an era when the puzzle genre has been dominated by Tetris re-inventions or clones, this geometrical brain buster is surprisingly fresh. Hexcite requires players to strategically place geometrical pieces on hexagonal boards, with seven different shapes to manipulate. The pieces can be rotated any way the player chooses, but must be placed with at least one side touching another piece. The more sides of the piece that are touching other pieces, the greater number of points that are rewarded. Minimize

Pros: Challenging, Addictive
Cons: Simple graphics and sounds
Review: If you prefer games where you run, jump, and shoot stuff, then you will not like Hexcite. However if you like a real challenging brain exercise, then this is the game for you.

Cons: dullish graphics, requires consulting with the manual before playing completely
