Makes me wonder why the Prius is so weird--Honda's and Toyota's hybrid sedans compared

Pros: Refined feel, drives much like a conventional car

Cons: Slow, low handling limits, must adapt driving style to fully benefit

The Bottom Line: A much better car than the Prius, the Civic Hybrid makes me wonder why Toyota went through so much trouble.

Review: Purely electric cars have not worked. They must be recharged too often, and recharging takes too long. The battery packs are so large and heavy that they severely harm the performance and functionality of the vehicle. For these reasons, auto makers ...

Very comfortable compact car that gets over 40mpg

Pros: Low fuel consumption, low noise, ample legroom, base model fully equipped

Cons: Moderate acceleration at high speeds

The Bottom Line: Probably the best compact car for the fuel conscious. Even better than a regular Honda Civic in terms of comfort and quiet

Review: Even though I had been interested in Hybrid cars for some time, I passed on the Honda Insight and the Toyota Prius since the Insight was only a 2 seater and Prius looked really weird and was kind of small.
