MORE CONVENIENT AND COMPATIBLE THAN THE ALTERNATIVES.

Pros: Acceptably fast for USB 1.1, no power brick, read/write compatible with 100MB media.

Cons: No USB 2.0 support.

The Bottom Line: Very convenient backup device, powered by USB port, good Windows XP support. Read/write compatibility with 100MB zip media.

iOmega Zip 250: The Solution To My Data Transfer Issues

Pros: Easy to use, no-frills, USB powered, got it on clearance.

Cons: Makes strange noises, no power off.

The Bottom Line: If you are a Zip fan and need an external unit, this is the one to get.
