My personal favorite subwoofer

Pros: Loud, great range, excellent blend of SQL and SPL
Cons: High Price, Needs a huge enclosure
The Bottom Line: If you have the cash, there are few better options. Just make sure you put it in a well-built box and don't underpower it.
Review: Overall a spectacular woofer, the best I have ever heard or had personally. The price is high, but you pay for this type of quality. I'm running a 13w7 off a JL 1000/1 amplifier and believe me when I tell you, you NEED to give this sub its recommended ...

Wow! Unbelievable Bass Like Never Before!

Pros: Loud, Powerful, Crystal Clear
Cons: May cause physical damage to trunks, ear drums, and windows
The Bottom Line: Even though it says only 1000 watts, it's completely different than any other subs on the market. Go to your nearest dealer and ask for a demonstration.
Review: If you want bass and you want it LOUD, then even just one of these bad boys will do it for you. The JL Audio 13W7 is a massive subwoofer containing patents no other sub in the world has. It gives the SPL and SQL combined that blows everything else out...
