Young Canadian Shows She’s Anything But Ordinary

Pros: Nice, refreshing songs with undeniable hooks, simple and fun

Cons: None that I have found

The Bottom Line: This little Canadian is going to go far. The lyrics are refreshing and simple and the songs are fun and catchy.

Let Go of Mainstream Music: Listen to Avril!

Pros: Unique sound, range of different songs/moods, the music grows on you

Cons: After a while, some songs start to sound similar

The Bottom Line: Avril's new sounds are a welcome change from some genre's that are becoming a little stale. She's got music that's catchy, sad, angry, etc- a little bit of everything.
