Maytag® freezers offer dependable, energy-saving frozen food storage. The upright MQU1656 has 15.7 cu. ft. of room to handle up to 450 lbs. of food. The contoured door provides more capacity and a unique style. Four fixed door bins and a lower storage gate help with organization, while an interior light makes items easy to find. For durability, the smooth interior liner is rust and impact resistant; the full-width wire shelves are epoxy coated. The temperature is adjustable using the upfront controls, and a fast-freeze setting cools down the contents quickly. Foamed-in-lace door liner seals cold air tightly inside. Outside, the textured steel cabinet resists dents and fingerprints to stay looking good, while a keyed lock helps keep the contents secure. Defrosts automatically for convenience. Offers a UL Commercial rating. Minimize

Questionable Quality

Pros: It gets cold and freezes fine.

Cons: Very Poor fit and finish

Dead after 2 Days

Pros: Energy Star rating.

Cons: DOA and the Maytag Repair Guy is no where to be found.

The Bottom Line: Don't Buy it. Maytag makes poor quality appliances and doesn't repair them in a timely manner, if at all.
