Clunky software - non-intuitive interface

Pros: No internet connection required. Compatible with NMEA-type GPS receivers.

Cons: Web-based maps are better, more up-to-date. With two people, an atlas is easier.

The Bottom Line: This is not a substitute for a road atlas or a GPS unit with driving directions. Hotel/restaurant information is readily available (and up-to-date) on interstate signage.

Review: I got this software for use on a cross country trip. The learning curve is steep. I couldn't believe that zooming in an out required using either the - keys or mousing over to the zoom toolbar. Double clicking on a map doesn't zoom, it brings up a ...
