Not 25 mile range, more like 2 miles!!

Pros: good craftsmanship, nice to look at and hold
Cons: battery system is aging technology, and range sucks. 2-3 miles at best.
Review: I really like the way this radio looks, and it feels good in your hand. I set this radio up for use on the GRMS channels to maximize range. I am sorry to report that the 25 mile range that is advertized is more like 2-3 miles at best. It is the same as ...
