This Bluetooth GPS car kit is bundled with TomTom Navigator software. The Bluetooth technology-enabled receiver sits on your dashboard, where it identifies the car's position using at least 3 satellites. By communicating with the GPS receiver via Bluetooth, your handheld obtains real-time location information and displays 2D or 3D maps by TomTom. Using the handheld's high-resolution screen, the maps automatically show your car's location. The receiver is compatible with the palmOne Tungsten T3 Handheld and palmOne Zire 72 Handheld. TomTom software includes maps of the entire United States and Canada on eight CDs. The Bluetooth receiver is palmOne branded and runs on an internal rechargeable battery. The charging cable has a USB connector on one end for plugging into an automobile cigarette lighter adapter or an AC adapter, both included. Pros: Easy to set and use.

Cons: Can't think of any.

Review: For less than the cost of a dedicated GPS you get something that works even better and is a first rate PDA as well. Voice directions mean you don't even have to take the thing out of your pocket to get to your destination. The display is very easy to ...

Canadian Maps on palm gps unit

Pros:

I do like that the instructions are verbal.

Cons:

Because of the age of my palm I can no longer update my maps.

Review: I find that the way the maps are designated in this system a little confusing. I find that it breaks down cities into smaller areas kinda like sub cities. I double check any directions that I question on mapquest. I find this especially confusing ...
