You probably won't see the CIA shredding documents with a fleet of these, but.....

Pros: Very compact crosscut shredder perfect for personal/home use. Easy to empty slide out bin.

Cons: One-gallon bin capacity somewhat small and fills after 4 or 5 pages, a bit loud.

The Bottom Line: In this day and age, if you don't have something like this tiny, convenient, economical and inexpensive shredder in your household, you could be taking big chances.

Pros: cross-cuts for more security, optional auto-on, safety features

Cons: collection basket fills up fast, slows down with more than one piece of paper

The Bottom Line: great for personal shredding/low volume; cross-cuts for more security; reverse switch available; optional auto-on; small attractive design
