Pros: Fresh tasting, well-structured.

Cons: Lacks the complexity some find appealing.

The Bottom Line: With citrus zest aromas, lemon-lime flavors, a butter-cookie undertone, and acidity to match, Perrier-Jouet is a light, easy-drinking Champagne that pairs well with food.

Review: Wine marketers downplay this: all non-vintage "house" Champagne (vrai vin de Champagne, not "Champagne" as a catchall for sparkling wine) made in the traditional méthode champenoise that is imported to the US is good. Some, of course, is ...
