Starting off with a thin design for easy transporting, the 140 contains street level maps of the U.S. and Canada preloaded and routing software that delivers voice prompted, turn by turn driving directions. GPS signals are acquired with the highly sensitive SiRFstarIII and routes are clearly shown on the large, 4.0” color touch screen display. The hands free Bluetooth feature for cell phones helps to keep eyes on the road when discussing business and also comes in handy for in-vehicle multi-person conversations with customers or the office. For added entertainment when driving long distances, the 140 also comes equipped with a photo viewer, an MP3 player and a video player. Music files as well as video files can be heard in full sound when connected to a vehicles sound system via the speaker outlet jack on the 140. Minimize

Could be improved upon

Pros: Screen size, POI, main menu
Cons: Freezes, Bluetooth quality, Day/Night switch, supporting menus
The Bottom Line: The constant freezing is a deal breaker, until that is fixed do not buy.
Review: I received this unit for a present. Had a hard time with it from the start. Gave it the full 30 day trial, before finally returning it. It freezes up constantly, needs to be reset several times a day for normal operation. No wonder they placed the ...
