Convenience features include VCR Plus+, which lets you program the timer by entering numbers from TV listings, and front panel A/V inputs, which are handy for quick camcorder hook-ups. The system clock automatically springs forward or falls back to accommodate biannual daylight savings time changes. With the one-year eight-event timer, you can pre-set the timer to tape up to eight of your favorite programs. The One-Touch Record feature puts the system into record mode for up to eight hours - convenient for spur-of-the-moment recording. The digital quartz tuner can receive up to 181 channels, without a decoder/converter on non-scrambled cable systems.
