The VSX-816-K/S is the perfect choice for a small to medium sized home theater. With 7 channels of high powered amplification you can feel free to turn up the volume and immerse yourself in the 3 dimensional surround sound experiences of today''s DVD movies, music, games, PC audio, and High-Definition TV. Auto MCACC (Multi Channel Acoustic Calibration) ensures easy set-up and multi-channel accuracy. First, it "listens" with the supplied room calibration microphone, to how well your speakers and room "get along"; then it makes adjustments to ensure that sound from each speaker is reaching your ears at the same time and same volume. As to any "issues" your speakers and room may have, Auto MCACC applies professional level acoustic equalization "therapy" to each speaker, ensuring you hear the "real" soundtrack. Minimize
