Nice fax machine for home or small office

Pros: 200 sheet machine, 20 sheet feeder, 100 page memory, ink-based machine.
Cons: Takes up a lot of desk space, a little slow when scanning.
The Bottom Line: For $100 or less, this is about as much fax machine as you're going to get. No built-in phone/answering machine, just 100% fax.

Small cartridge and unreliable cart holder undermined solid product

Pros: Refillable cartridge (undocumented) Holds 100 pages, decent print quality
Cons: Tiny cartridge, expensive refill Long-term reliability problems
The Bottom Line: You may be better off with some other inkjet fax, until Sharp fixes the reliability problem.
Review: Have owned the UX-B700 for well over a year now. The ink cart is tiny and doesn't hold much ink, a couple hundred pages, even with the ink-saver mode turned on (defaults to OFF!) Carts are expensive at about $32 each, and no refurb ones are available... ...
