This is the best DVD/VHS recorder/player that you can buy.

Pros: Records great, plays recorded media from other players without a hitch. Easy to use.

Cons: I don't have more VHS tapes to transfer to DVD.

Convenient for copying old VHS to DVD

Pros: Convenience in copying VHS to DVD

Cons: Very strict enforcement of copy protection

The Bottom Line: Very good for our intended use, to copy and archive old VHS tapes before they degrade further.
