Pros: No filters. Sturdy, Nice design
Cons: Mist humidifiers will create a white dust if you have hard water.
Review: I bought this humidifier because it requires no filters and produces a mist which I like. It does have a water filter but if you have good water you don't need to use. Because it does not have a wick filter, you will need to clean it at least once ...

Pros: Quiet, easy to fill, you can see the mist coming out
Cons: Poor humidification, expensive and unreliable filter cartridge.
The Bottom Line: Humidifier doesn't humidify. Expensive demineralization cartridge gave out after less than a month. Poor unit.
