A welcome return to the brainless side of Baldur's Gate.

Pros: Massive variety and enjoyment in weapons, characters, enemies and quests. Great visuals and sound.

Cons: The variety is merely superficial. Ultimately you're still just mashing bad guys.

The Bottom Line: If you're a dungeon hack fan, you should be symbiotically attached to this game. Otherwise you'll find plenty to love.

Review: Sto...ry..line..? Those of us who loved the original dark alliance (and we were many) will find all we loved here again, and more. Those of us who moaned and groaned in despair at the lack of depth to the game's narrative will be doing the same, but ...

Cons: Overhead view can be slightly difficult to get used to.
