Not very good performance

Pros: Neat idea for a NAS (Network Attached Storage) device. Looks good.

Cons: VERY Slow. Poor Documentation. LOUD FANS (!)

The Bottom Line: I wouldn't waste my money on this product. Get a non-networked version if you want one.

Review: I purchased this unit in order to run Windows backups to it. It comes with a 1000BaseT (Gigabit) ethernet port and a USB port. However, the device can ONLY be accessed by a network connection. The USB port is for adding an ADDITONAL USB hard ...

Pros: 1Tb of storage, integrated ethernet connection

Cons: Misleading specs; enforces content restrictions; CPU of unit processes only a fraction of stated bandwidth

The Bottom Line: Avoid this product at all costs. Poorly designed, misleading specifications, explicitly breaks stated functions
