ZOOM/Modem 56K V.92 PC Card Plus with on-board Controller and DSP. The 3075 is a high-performance 56K fax modem that plugs into the PCMCIA slot of a Windows laptop computer. The 3075's performance is enhanced by an on-board controller and DSP (Digital Signal Processor) as well as ITU V.92/V.44 standard compatibility. * The Zoom/Modem V.92 PC Card Plus outperforms V.90 modems. ITU V.92 is a standard for dialup modems. It, and its companion compression standard V.44, makes communications faster, easier and more enjoyable. The ''automatic negotiation'' or ''handshake'' at the beginning of a call can be over twice as fast with Zoom/Modem V.92 models than with V.90 modems. * The V.44 compression technology results in significantly faster Web browsing and download speeds.
