A Whirlpool that will wash away those washday worries

Pros: Good performance. Generous capacity. Clear control labels. Solidly built. Not too noisy.

Cons: Minimalist owner's "manual"

The Bottom Line: This model represents the sweet spot of the Whirlpool line: An ideal combination of useful features, steady wash performance and solid build quality...all at a moderate price.

At least it hasn't broken down as much as my Fisher & Paykel

Pros: doesn't break down as much as the Fisher & Paykel

Cons: loud, Loud, LOUD!!! No end of cycle signal.

The Bottom Line: A good basic washing machine, but has problems with heavy loads. I don't love it, but I don't hate it as much as my old one.
